Brands that Matter

Type Camp

strategic marketing

Type Camp, a successful international typographic workshop program that allows designers to travel the world and expand their knowledge of typography. They needed to grow their base of registrants and build awareness about the benefits of Type Camp within the design community. We defined the target market and identified the best methods to talk to their audience. This year we joined Type Camp at the HOW Denver; a conference that attracts well over 3000 attendees from all over North America. We promoted the heck out of Type Camp and boosted the awareness ten-fold.

Glenorchy

print / identity"

Real Estate advisors to the commercial and residential real estate market, Glenorchy was looking for a professional, modern and approachable corporate identity that could be translated into a variety of print materials. Perception is everything in this market, so it was important to our client to uphold a professional, knowledgeable, yet small operation, that differentiates them from the corporate giants they compete with.

Baristas

identity

The move to a new coffee house, meant a rebrand for this eclectic mountain cafe. Located in Smithers, British Columbia, Baristas is known for its great coffee, deserts, bright decor, and warm and inviting atmosphere to patrons of all ages. Our research revealed the largest growing segment of coffee drinkers fell in the 18 to 24 age range. This meant the new logo had to connect with a younger audience. We chose a more illustrative approach that incorporated the eclectic colour palette of the cafe and the casual, cozy, mountain feel of Baristas.

BC chapter of the AMA

print

As British Columbia’s long standing, premier marketing association, the BC chapter of the American Marketing Association provides marketing education on leading edge topics to over 500 active members. With the movement towards a greater on-line presence, the Executive Director saw the opportunity to outline sponsorship and loyalty opportunities through a series of printed and electronic brochures. To date we have created brochures for several BCAMA programs, namely the Senior Executive Program, the Vision Conference Sponsorship Program, and the Annual Supplier Program.
